Maybelline Colour Elixers

I've never been a huge lip gloss fan until I tried the Tanya Burr lip glosses, from then on I wanted to delve into the lip gloss world all over again.

The Maybelline Colour Elixers launched earlier this month and I was desperate to try them after hearing all the rants and raves about them from US bloggers and youtubers. The Colour Elixers promise to be moisturising, non-sticky and pigmented; these are three important factors for myself, there is nothing I dislike more than dry lips, sticky lips or the most pathetic wash of colour.

I purchased three glosses - Alluring Coral a beautiful coral colour... duh, Fuchsia Flouris a hot pink with a tint of purple and then Petal Plush which is a nudey pink and I ended up loving each colour (although I think Fuchsia Flouris was my fav)!

My favourite Fuchsia Flouris

Although my photos aren't the best quality, I think you can tell just how beautifully pigmented and glossy they are. They last quite along time for a lip gloss and don't go all patchy and gloopy on you when you're eating, talking or drinking. And did I mention THEY'RE NOT STICKY AND SUPER MOISTOURISING?! The smell is delightful with a slight hint of Shea Butter but this doesn't linger around for to long once on the lips.

Overall they have become another firm favourite in my lip collection. Fingers crossed they bring out a winter selection!
