It was a really dark outfit to wear on such a beautiful day but hey ho! This culotte playsuit is from River Island which I absolutely adore. It is so easy and comfortable to wear and makes you look as if you've made an effort. I teamed it with my River Island leather jacket, Steve Madden faux pony hair shoes and my Michael Kors handbag. On the lips is MAC Rubywoo.
Hope you all had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend!

Just before I popped off on my holiday (read all about it here) I picked up a couple of bits from MAC which were perfect for my holiday.
I absolutely hate filling in my eyebrows. My eyebrows are naturally full and bushy that adding any more brow product to give it shape normally makes them stick out like a sore thumb and I swear everyone homes into them. The lovely lady in MAC introduced me to their new Big Brow Pencil which is a new life saver of mine. I was told to run the clear gel through my eyebrows first to keep the hairs in place then run over any sparse areas with this pencil. I love this pencil as it looks so natural and its very quick to do and you don't have to worry about edging into scouse brow territory. I got mine in the shad Coquette.
I also picked up a cream bronzer, I don't usually use cream products but when they tested it on my skin it made it look very bronzed and healthy. Again this was perfect for the holiday as I tan everywhere but my face, so it helped with matching everything up! My shade in this is Amber, it looks very natural on the skin and stays put all day.
And finally I picked up this blusher called Margin which is like a warm bronzey colour with a peachy/gold sheen to it. This looks gorgeous on top of the bronzer and really adds to the golden goddess look. Its now my new favourite blusher and I reach for it every day!
Have you picked up any new makeup bits? Leave a comment below with your most recent makeup haul, I'd love to read them!

I've been pretty lousy on the posts front lately but I have a good excuse and thought I'd do something a little different on my blog.
Over a year ago my boyfriend surprised me with a 3 week trip to Thailand, Fast forward to now and I'm at my second week back to work with major holiday blues. It feels strange to look forward to something for so long and then for it to finally be over, but in honesty it has been the best holiday I have ever been on.
Thailand is one of the most beautiful countries with the loveliest and kindest people you'll ever meet. During our holiday we stayed in the gorgeous Avista Hideaway which I couldn't recommend enough to anyone. The whole hotel is spotless with stunning panoramic views and staff that cannot do enough for you.
I thought I would do quick a list of 8 things to see and do in Phuket and surrounding areas...
1. Similan Islands
White sands, turquoise waters and tropical fish - Similan Islands is perfect for relaxing on the soft sands or snorkeling. You must take a short hike up the rocks to the view point for a breathtaking view of the island.
Maya Bay is the location of where The Beach was filmed with Leo DiCaprio. We had seen and heard a lot of people moaning about how busy it is there but we were just desperate to go to say we had done it. When we went we must have been fortunate as it was not as busy as we were anticipating. It is definitely worth doing and is as beautiful as all the pictures.
3. Snorkel LOTS!
We went on quite a few island tours and every time we made sure we snorkeled. There is so much life in the sea that you just don't realise and the most colourful fish you'll see, it's like a whole new world down there.
4. Cooking class
I absolutely love cooking at home and had never really had proper Thai food before so I definitely wanted to do a cooking class while we were out there. We went to Pums Cooking Class in Patong and did the Wok the World class. We were given a recipe book to choose 2 dishes we wanted to cook each, they then ran through all their different sauces, spices and ingredients they use before we rustled up our own dishes. We then got to keep the recipe book and most importantly eat all of the food.
Songkran is the Thai new year celebrated by a huge water fight. This is in April so if you can time your trip with this amazing event, do so! Be prepared to get soaked.
6. The Temples
We visited a number of temples but each one still made me wander round with my mouth open in awe at the rich architecture.
7. Big Buddha
The Big Buddha is truly impressive. Head up the hills for a closer look and for a panoramic view. At the moment they're still building it and you can make a donation to write on one of the tiles that are being used to make the Buddha,
8. Bangla Road
Banglad Road is hectic and may not be to everyone's tastes, but it is definitely one you must try! This is where you'll find all the bars, ping pong shows and the lady boys.
8. Old Phuket Town
I found Old Phuket Town to be very special. On the weekend they hold the night market, but it is definitely worth a visit in the week, Head down the streets and visit the local markets and restaurants which are a lot quieter and authentic compared to Patong.
